DTE Energy's 132-megawatt Fish Creek Solar Park near Sheridan, Mich., is operational. The $268 million project was fully funded by voluntary MIGreenPower customers, adding generation without raising customer costs. It can power about 30,000 homes and will generate tens of millions in local tax revenue. DTE now has 20 wind and 37 solar parks in Michigan, with a plan for 15 gigawatts more renewables by 2042.
