Bausch + Lomb said it is advancing two first-in-class eye health therapies. Its dual-action eye drop showed a significant reduction in TCFS at day 15 versus lifitegrast and is moving into Phase 3, though the study failed its primary endpoint versus lifitegrast alone at day 29. BL1332 met its primary endpoint in Phase 1b with significant pain reduction.

Bausch + Lomb said the combined potential peak sales for two therapies exceed $2 billion. Phase 2 results for BL1332, an ocular pain therapy, are expected in the coming months.
