Constellation Energy agreed to sell 3.6 GW of electricity to Google via long-term deals, funding $4.3 billion in nuclear reactor upgrades. The arrangement adds grid capacity without raising consumer rates. Constellation stock jumped 12%, Talen Energy 12%, NRG 7%, and Vistra 11%. Vistra also received a $4.2 billion DOE loan for its own nuclear upgrades. The moves break a months-long slump in power stocks, which had fallen on regulatory pushback and PJM grid congestion.
