Asure Software (ASUR) and Vertex (VERX) formed a strategic partnership to deliver an end-to-end payroll tax solution. Vertex's calculation technology will pair with Asure's tax filing, remittance, W-2 processing, and agency notice management. The deal creates three distribution channels for Asure, including a side-by-side offering and pursuit of the payroll/HCM provider ecosystem. Asure expects to expand its share of the U.S. payroll tax compliance market.
