Deere has launched an AI assistant named JD, built into its Operations Center mobile app. The assistant analyzes field-specific data from planting, treating, and harvesting to help farmers with decisions such as fertilizer application. A Deere executive said there are hundreds of economically important decisions for farmers each season. The assistant is free for app users and will roll out more broadly later this year.
