CSL enters agreements with U.S. government to lower drug prices, expand manufacturing in Illinois

CSL has entered agreements with the U.S. government to lower drug prices and support investment in U.S. manufacturing. The company plans to spend $1.5 billion to expand manufacturing capacity in Illinois. The onshoring agreement with the Department of Commerce is expected to create at least 300 new pharmaceutical manufacturing jobs and approximately 800 construction and related jobs.
