FTC and 22 states to sue Amazon over alleged ad price manipulation
The Federal Trade Commission, joined by more than 20 states, plans to file a lawsuit Monday alleging Amazon deceived advertisers by covertly raising minimum ad prices. The case, to be filed in Seattle federal court, claims the practice generated tens of billions of dollars over seven years. Amazon called the lawsuit 'patently false'.
