Tesla is hosting its Cybercab launch event in Austin on Sept. 3. Morgan Stanley notes that TX DMV data shows ~40 additional Cybercabs registered for commercial operation, suggesting preparation for a larger-scale rollout. The event is expected to show the production version, with features including theater mode and Starlink. Elon Musk said the Cybercab will usher in a 'golden era of transport.' Tesla has begun taking inquiries from companies interested in purchasing fleets.
