J&J model analysis projects Tec-Dara may nearly quadruple median survival in relapsed Multiple Myeloma

New Phase 3 model-based analysis from the MajesTEC-3 study projects 87% of patients treated with TECVAYLI plus DARZALEX FASPRO (Tec-Dara) as early as second line may have mortality risk comparable to the age-matched general population. Median overall survival was estimated at 18.5 years, nearly four-fold longer than the standard-of-care comparator. The survival benefit was driven by a 90% reduction in disease progression risk without a significant increase in non-relapse mortality. Data were presented at the IMS Annual Meeting. The EC approved the combination for relapsed/refractory Multiple Myeloma after at least one prior therapy in August 2026.
