Qualcomm said Wednesday it has agreed to acquire PickNik, the company behind the open-source MoveIt robotics manipulation framework. The deal aims to strengthen the company's position in physical AI and robotics software. MoveIt will remain open-source and is expected to be integrated with Qualcomm's Dragonwing robotics platforms. Financial terms were not disclosed.
