Bullish (BLSH) and Equiniti announced the formation of the Issuer Sponsored Token Coalition, bringing together Alpaca, Apex Fintech Solutions and DriveWealth. The working group will develop technical standards and infrastructure for issuer-sponsored tokenized securities, aiming to preserve shareholder rights while enabling blockchain-based trading. The launch follows the SEC's Sept. 17 Innovation Exemption, which permits limited onchain equity trading for five years. Bullish's pending $4.2B acquisition of Equiniti is expected to close in January 2027.
