SCE holds additional community events for wildfire compensation program as Nov. 30 deadline nears

Southern California Edison announced virtual and in-person sessions to help Eaton Fire victims submit claims before the Wildfire Recovery Compensation Program deadline of Nov. 30, 2026. As of Sept. 24, nearly 4,900 claims had been submitted, representing over 14,900 individuals and entities. Offers totaling more than $970 million have been extended to over 6,900 claimants, and more than $525 million has been paid to over 3,700 claimants. CEO Pedro Pizarro encouraged community members to understand their options. The deadline is just over two months away.
