Transitions into serious credit card delinquencies for Americans aged 18-29 rose 0.4 percentage points in Q2 2026 to 10.1%, the highest since Q1 2025 and more than double Q2 2021. Delinquencies also rose for ages 70+ (to 6.3%, highest since Q3 2011) and ages 50-59 (to 6.4%, highest since Q4 2024). Stress is spreading across generations.
