Broad commodity index posts 37.3% annual gain, approaching 2022 crisis pace

The Bloomberg Commodity Index has risen 37.3% year-over-year, nearing the pace of the 2022 energy crisis. A subindex covering agriculture, livestock, energy, and copper shows a 44.9% annual increase, the largest 12-month gain since 2022. Year-to-date, the main index is up 32%.
