CenterPoint Energy (CNP) closed the sale of its Ohio natural gas LDC to National Fuel Gas (NFG) for $2.62 billion. Consideration includes $1.42B cash and a $1.20B note. The assets serve 335,000 customers across 5,900 miles of pipeline. CenterPoint will use proceeds to fund its $66.7B capital plan.
