Lamb Weston lifts outlook after Q1 beat, stock jumps 12%

Lamb Weston reported fiscal Q1 adjusted EPS of 75c, beating 59c consensus, on revenue of $1.67B vs $1.65B. The company raised its FY2027 guidance for net sales and adjusted EPS, citing cost-saving initiatives and volume growth in North America. Shares rose 12% to $49.91, the largest single-day gain since July 2025. Net income fell 55% YoY to $29.1M, and adjusted EBITDA declined 6% to $285.6M.
