Amazon is working on a deal to acquire Decart, an AI startup that helps developers operate AI chips more efficiently, for $7 billion, according to a Wall Street Journal report. Amazon stock was little changed in early trading. Decart also makes AI-powered 3D world models. The talks could come together soon, per unnamed sources. Anthropic was previously in talks to acquire Decart but walked away. Decart has raised over $400 million from investors including Nvidia.
