AEP beats Q3 estimates, lifts 2026 outlook, unveils $100B capital plan

AEP reported Q3 operating EPS of $2.23, above estimates, and now expects 2026 operating EPS at or above the high end of its $6.25 to $6.55 range. The company announced a $100 billion five-year capital plan with a 13% plus rate base CAGR and introduced a 9% to 11% annual operating EPS growth rate from 2027 through 2031.
