Biogen beats Q3 estimates, lifts guidance as new drugs offset MS decline

Biogen crushed Q3 expectations with revenue of $2.8B and EPS of $2.62. The MS franchise continued to decline, but rare-disease drugs and the Apellis acquisition filled the gap. Management raised the low end of full-year guidance. Shares rose 1.8%.
