Smurfit Westrock Q3 adjusted EBITDA falls to $1.205B on cost inflation, weaker volumes

Smurfit Westrock reported Q3 adjusted EBITDA of $1,205 million, down from $1,302 million a year earlier, with margin at 14.8% versus 16.3%. Net sales rose to $8,161 million from $8,003 million, but net income fell to $219 million. Management expects pricing initiatives to more than offset input costs.
