Amazon Q3 EPS misses, operating income beats estimates

Amazon reported Q3 EPS of $1.89, below the $1.97 consensus. Net sales of $201.9 billion were roughly in line with the $202.26 billion estimate. Operating income of $28.08 billion beat the $26.06 billion estimate, and operating margin of 13.9% topped the 12.9% estimate. AWS net sales of $45.98 billion slightly beat the $45.68 billion estimate, with ex-FX growth of 39% versus 38% expected.
