Hagens Berman has opened a securities investigation into Stryker (NYSE: SYK) over its disclosures about a persistent manufacturing issue in its Peripheral Vascular unit. The probe follows a September 8, 2026 disclosure by CFO Preston Wells that the problem would continue into Q4, sending shares down $26.70 (-8.8%) and wiping out over $10 billion in market cap. The firm is examining whether Stryker was sufficiently transparent about the issue, which it had previously assured investors would be resolved by end of Q3.
