Tesla reportedly to open Optimus robot reservations in early December

Tesla is reportedly preparing to open consumer reservations for its Optimus humanoid robot in early December, potentially around the December 1-2 Humanoids Summit, according to The San Francisco Standard. The company is also expected to demonstrate Optimus V3 at the event. Most initial units are intended for businesses, with a smaller number for consumers. The robot is expected to cost more than $20,000, though deposits and final pricing remain unclear. Tesla has begun early production at Fremont, but Musk recently said outside deliveries aren't expected until late 2027. Tesla has not officially confirmed the plans.
