Eton Pharmaceuticals licensed patent rights from Baylor College of Medicine for mecasermin/IGF-1 in infantile and epileptic spasms. An IND has been submitted for a Phase 2 study in children with refractory epileptic spasms, with first patient dosing targeted for Q1 2027. Preclinical data showed a ~50% reduction in daily spasm counts. Eton retains commercial rights to ET-900.
