The three-day loss is 1,385.54 points or 5.22%, the largest three-day point decline since April 7, 2025, and the largest three-day percentage decline since April 21, 2025. The index is 8.82% below its Oct. 6, 2026 record close of 27,599.79 and at its lowest close since July 30, 2026. It remains up 8.27% year to date and 21.01% above its 52-week low.
