Lucid Diagnostics reports peer-reviewed publication of 11,991-patient EsoGuard study

Lucid Diagnostics said the journal Diagnostics published a real-world study of 11,991 patients tested with EsoGuard and EsoCheck from January 2023 to June 2024. Cell collection succeeded in 95% of patients, averaged under two minutes, and produced no reported device-related adverse events. The company said 82% reported very low discomfort and 0.2% reported high discomfort; 96% would recommend the test and 95% would undergo it again if clinically indicated. CEO Lishan Aklog said EsoGuard is fully reimbursed by Medicare nationwide and that scalable implementation will be critical as commercialization accelerates. Lucid is a subsidiary of PAVmed. No financial terms, revenue impact, or updated guidance were disclosed.
