Chevron will transfer its ownership in Hess Midstream and DJ Basin crude midstream assets in exchange for improved Bakken midstream terms and $200 million cash. The company expects a one-time after-tax loss of $3-4 billion and to deconsolidate ~$3.7 billion in debt. The deal is expected to close by year-end 2026.
