Sanofi broke ground on a new insulin manufacturing facility at its Frankfurt BioCampus. The 36,000-square-meter plant will use advanced digital and AI technologies. Full production of insulin active pharmaceutical ingredient is planned for 2032. The project received European Commission-approved public support in September 2026.
