Nearly 2 in 5 Americans expect to rely on credit as inflation hits 3.7%

NerdWallet's October survey finds 38% of Americans will use credit for expenses, up from 35% in September. Parents and younger adults lead the trend. September CPI rose 3.7% year-over-year, and recession expectations hold at 65%.
