Amazon said it will hire more than 300,000 seasonal, part-time and full-time workers for its US operations from October through December. That is a 20% increase from last year's 250,000. Seasonal employees earn an average of $20 an hour. Full-time operations employees start at $20 an hour, with average near $24. Seasonal workers at least 30 hours a week get healthcare coverage from day one.
