IREN announced a planned 300MW AI data center in Badajoz, Spain, with initial operations targeted for 2028. The company established IREN Europe and appointed Ángel Corcóstegui as Chair and Roberto Purcaro as Executive Director. The campus is designed for NVIDIA DSX AI Factory Platform with closed-loop liquid cooling. IREN will offer managed AI cloud services for European customers with data residency requirements.
