Nasdaq and small caps led a three-session rally. The Nasdaq Composite closed at 26,700.62, up 1.04% on the day and 2.14% for the week. The Russell 2000 gained 0.44%, bringing its weekly advance to 2.36%. The Dow rose 0.27% to 52,637.78 and the S&P 500 added 0.5% to 7,751.45. WTI crude fell 4.64% to $97.07 a barrel, and natural gas dropped 4.79% to $2.82 per MMBtu. Gold edged up 0.18% to $4,150.10 an ounce. The VIX fell to 16.72. Earnings and developments were reported for RTX, Abbott, CME Group, M/I Homes, and Lockheed Martin.
