Nymex Natural Gas Settles at $2.7900, Down 5.84%

Front-month Nymex natural gas for November delivery fell 17.30 cents, or 5.84%, to settle at $2.7900 per MMBtu. That is the largest one-day dollar and percentage decline since Sept. 28, 2026. The contract has fallen for four consecutive sessions, down 13.78% over that span. It is 62.60% below its 52-week high of $7.46 set Jan. 28, 2026, and 10.58% above its 52-week low of $2.523 from April 24, 2026. Year-to-date, natural gas is down 24.31%.
