Yanbu becomes Saudi Arabia's main crude outlet after Strait of Hormuz closure

Yanbu's export terminal is now Saudi Arabia's primary crude outlet following the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz in early March. The terminal serves three refineries including the 400,000 b/d SAMREF joint venture with ExxonMobil, the 400,000 b/d YASREF, and the 243,000 b/d Yanbu refinery, per Argus.
