Alcon acquires Neurotech and ENCELTO, the only FDA-approved MacTel treatment

Alcon paid $550 million for Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, gaining ENCELTO, the first FDA-approved treatment for MacTel Type 2. The deal expands Alcon's retina portfolio. Alcon expects modest accretion to sales growth in 2027.
