Lockheed Martin (LMT) Stock News: October 2026

The joint venture between RTX and Lockheed Martin received a $215 million U.S. Army contract to produce Lightweight Command Launch Units for the Javelin missile system. The new launcher is smaller, lighter, and compatible with all Javelin variants.

Lockheed Martin delivered a C-130J-30 Super Hercules to the U.S. Navy on Oct. 15. The aircraft will be modified into the E-130J Phoenix II for the TACAMO nuclear command-and-control mission. Northrop Grumman will integrate specialized mission systems. Financial terms and service-entry timeline were not disclosed.
