XPeng names Korea managing director as it prepares South Korean entry

XPeng appointed Lee Man-sik, a 30-year automotive veteran, as managing director of XPENG Motors Korea effective Dec. 1, 2026. The hire confirms the company's plan to enter South Korea, though launch timing and local operating details are still to come. Lee joined Volvo Cars Korea in 2003 and helped establish Volvo as a premium import brand there. XPeng also said October deliveries reached a monthly record of 50,237 vehicles, including 13,326 overseas.
